An experienced practitioner in Immigration & Refugee law who commenced trading on her own account with her team, in April 2008, as McGill & Co, a specialised Immigration & Refugee Law firm, based in Scotland. Grace focuses on private client immigration work, both personal and commercial, specialising in entry clearance work, European applications and Business Immigration. Grace is a member of the International Bar Association and the Immigration Law Practioners Association. |

Fran is an integral part of the team working with Grace for almost 18 years. She is the firm's Senior Paralegal and works closely with clients through all stages of the process. Having specialised in this area of law, she has considerable experience in entry clearance work, dealing daily with the UK Embassy's abroad. Fran also manages the Court of Session instructions and daily Court tasks. |
Darren joined McGill and Co in 2008 and is currently a solicitor with the firm, based in at the Glasgow Office. Prior to this he spent 6 years employed by the UK Border Agency in a variety of roles, including representing the Secretary of State at the Immigration Appeal Tribunal. Darren has developed a high volume practice in private client Immigration work advising both individuals and organisations. He has a particular interest and expertise in EC law and the Points Based System. |
After working with the McGill & Co for over a year, John joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in September 2011. He graduated with a Diploma in Legal Practice and an LLB from the University of Glasgow, incorporating a year of study at the University of Queensland School of Law, Australia. John's interests lie in Immigration and Refugee Law, with a particular interest in Human Rights. |
Amna is currently appointed as a Trainee Solicitor within McGill & Co, having previously worked with the firm for 15 months. A graduate from the University of Aberdeen, she hails from a business background and is currently also a presiding panel member at Children's Hearings. She speaks fluent Urdu and Punjabi and has a particular interest in gender equality issues in the overall application of Human Rights. |
